   The main branch of the Appalachian Fortean Society meets on Tuesday evenings at 6pm at one of our member's homes in Maryville, Tennessee. Call ahead at 865.983.0784 for the meeting place, directions, or the meeting topic. Most meetings have a short business discussion, and then a presentation by one of the members, followed by open-floor discussion. The presentation subjects run the gamut; things like ghosts, hauntings, poltergeists, and demons, UFOs and UFO entities, cryptozoology, out-of-place artifacts, ancient and prehistoric civilizations, secret societies and cults, and conspiracy theory.
